It has been about fours years now since you completed the major addition on our
house, and I felt compelled to write and thank you for your fine work.
Most builders would not have attempted a Great Room with octagonal corners,
large plate glass windows, or the impressive stone entry in the front. But you took
these challenges in stride and made them happen.
It has been my experience that after four years you start finding cracks in the walls
where the structure begins to sag, door stop fitting right, or leaks start occurring. Not
the case here. Your work is meeting the test of time.
You are welcome to use this unsolicited letter in developing new business, and if I
can give you some good references, I would be happy to do so.

Hi Rolfe,
We met a gentleman who has been a Realtor out here forever, a huge historian and
member of the historical society. He came to the tour here and "stayed all day"
according to him, he proclaimed to everyone at the party that our house "was the
best done new house he had EVER been in", and that our house was "the best thing
to happen to Goochland in twenty years" and that "the county should be proud to
have such a historical home."
And everyone who had been here agreed with him in spades.
